Realme is holding a launch event in India today to announce the Realme 12x5G smartphone. The smartphone arrives at a time when the Indian market has seen an inflow of Realme devices like the Realme 12, Realme 12+, and Realme Narzo 70 Pro.
According to Realme, the 12x5G will offer 45W SUPER VOOC fast charging, which will be capable of charging the phone’s 5,000 mAh battery from zero to fifty percent in just 30 minutes. Realme also revealed that the 12x5G will allow reverse charging.
Similar to the newly introduced Narzo 70 Pro 5G, the Realme 12x5G will offer air gestures, allowing users to conduct specific functions without touching the smartphone. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has also announced that the 12x5G will be powered by a 6nm chipset with a 120 Hz refresh rate display.

Notably, the Realme 12x was just announced in China, and a smartphone with identical specifications might be presented in India. The Chinese Realme 12x features a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 950 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, which is combined with the Mali G57 GPU for graphics-intensive activities. The 12x runs Realme UI 5.0, which is based on the newest Android 14 operating system.
In terms of optics, the mid-ranger is equipped with a 50MP main sensor and a secondary sensor. Furthermore, the phone includes an 8MP front-facing camera for all your selfie and video needs.
Realme 12x Pricing:
Realme plans to price the 12x below ₹12,000 in India, making it less expensive than its predecessor. The Realme 11x was launched for ₹14,999 for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage model.
