After a brief illness, a former radio personality in Twin Cities passed away. He was sixty-three.
Ian Punnett, a podcast host on Coast to Coast AM, passed away on Thursday. Punnett co-hosted the “Ian and Margery Show” on myTalk 107.1 for ten years with his spouse.
Eleven years to the day before his passing, on December 21, 2012, he had his final program on myTalk. He departed from myTalk in order to recuperate from tinnitus.
Punnett had previously worked at WKDF in Nashville, WMJY in New Jersey, WXLP in the Quad Cities, WGN in Chicago, and Atlanta. In more recent times, he was a novelist, an Episcopal deacon, and a lecturer at Kansas State.
His two kids and his wife, Margery, survive him.
