Crowdstrike CEO George Kurtz said that the company “is actively working with customers impacted by a defect found in a single content update for Windows hosts.” This comes after millions of Windows users across the globe are experiencing the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error, which results in computer systems suddenly shutting down or restarting. Microsoft said that the error, which has impacted several companies, banks, and government offices across the globe, is being caused by a recent CrowdStrike ‘Falcon Sensor’ update.

What did Microsoft say about the technical glitch?

Microsoft also replied to the technical fault, stating that a fix for Windows devices is “coming soon” and blaming a third party. In a statement, the business stated, “We are aware of a problem impacting Windows devices caused by a third-party software platform upgrade. We anticipate that a resolution will be forthcoming.”
