As part of the multi-year collaboration, Caitlin Clark will assist the Caitlin Clark Foundation and release his first signature basketball line.

Wilson Sporting Goods declared on Tuesday that it will “celebrate Caitlin Clark’s continued legacy” by releasing a customized basketball line for Fever star Caitlin Clark. Along with helping Wilson design its basketball goods for the WNBA, NBA, and all of basketball, the rookie phenom will also collaborate with Wilson.

“Wilson has been with me through some of the most pivotal moments in my career so far, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue driving basketball forward alongside them,” Caitlin Clark stated in a news statement. “It feels surreal to have my own basketball collection and to affect what that means for future generations of athletes.”

Caitlin Clark is the first female player to own a trademark basketball collection from Wilson, Wilson said in an email to CBS Sports.

In the 2024 WNBA Draft, Clark was chosen first overall by the Fever, following his achievement as Iowa’s all-time top scorer in NCAA Division I. Wilson wanted to work with the WNBA guard because of her playoff performance, which culminated in two NCAA championship appearances during her historic collegiate career.

Wilson’s head of global branding, Amanda Lamb, stated, “Wilson is made to celebrate the most iconic moments in sport, and we have always aligned ourselves with trailblazers who break boundaries and write their own story.” “Caitlin Clark has had a significant influence on the game and is not merely a record-breaking athlete but also a cultural figure.

We are really excited to collaborate with her to keep advancing basketball both on and off the court.”

Just before the 25th season of the league began in 2021, Wilson released a new official WNBA game ball. Liz Cambage, a center with the Las Vegas Aces at the time, was appointed to the Wilson Advisory Staff, making history as the first female player to hold the position.

Wilson has been working with the WNBPA, the league, and its players since 2021 to expand its inventory of women’s basketball products and create limited-edition partnerships. Kahleah Copper of the Sun and Azura Stevens of the Sparks were added to Wilson Basketball’s roster of players last year.

In honor of Caitlin Clark, Wilson will also introduce limited-edition collections, one of which will be a trademark basketball line that will make its appearance later in the year. In appreciation of Caitlin Clark’s expanding legacy, the first drop—which went online on Tuesday—features three exclusive laser engravings, including her well-known “get hype” celebration.

As a member of the Wilson family, Clark will evaluate, counsel, and provide input on Wilson basketball equipment in order to facilitate advancements in the sport at all levels. The athletic equipment firm has also pledged to assist the Caitlin Clark Foundation and its goals of using sport, nutrition, and education to better the lives of young people and their communities.

In the 2024 WNBA Draft, Clark was chosen first overall by the Fever, following his achievement as Iowa’s all-time top scorer in NCAA Division I. Currently, Clark serves as a representative for Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Gatorade, and State Farm. According to reports, Clark also agreed to a $28 million contract with Nike that would see him wear a trademark sneaker.
