A horse was sighted trotting inside a train station in Sydney, Australia, when it was pouring fiercely. CCTV footage from Warwick Farm Station recorded an unexpected event when a horse seeking shelter from a rainstorm entered the station and then departed.
A person shared a video of the occurrence on social networking site X, writing, “The weather has been awful here; it’s been raining all day long.” A horse chose to ‘hoof’ the train home from Warwick Farm Station to escape getting wet after a day out in the city 😂🐎.
Chris Minns, premier of Australia’s New South Wales state, responded to the footage showing the horse trotting inside the train station, writing, “Wet tracker.” We regret to inform you that horses are not permitted on our trains. “I can confirm that the horse has returned home safely.”
While little is known about the horse, it is evident that it was ready “to stir up trouble,” according to a news statement from Transport for New South Wales, the state’s transportation authority.
Meanwhile, transport minister Jo Haylen commented on the situation, saying, “An unexpected visitor arrived at Warwick Farm station.” I’m just thankful his hooves stayed behind the yellow line.”
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the horse broke out from Annabel Neasham Racing’s stables, which are located near Warwick Farm Station.
Meanwhile, in an unconnected instance, an Uber Eats rider was seen delivering food on a horse in Sydney. The delivery worker rode a horse through the streets of Paddington, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

The delivery person was eventually banned from the platform.
