Yodha movie review: Sidharth Malhotra’s movie opens with a mixed response, from ‘phenomenal film’ to ‘bad choice: 2024

Yodha Movie Review:

Yodha is a Bollywood film directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, Disha Patani, Ronit Roy, and Tanuj Virwani in key parts. The film is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Dharma Productions, and Mentor Disciple Entertainment.

“Outstanding movie, great action scene or thriller, and suspense super Siddharth was looking fabulous and great acting by Siddharth Malhotra (sic),” a person posted on Twitter.

“Sidharth Malhotra again delivers. One of the best performances since Shershaah. Yodha is one of the best patriotic films of recent times,” according to one brief assessment.

“Yodha is the best ever hijack-based patriotic film in Indian cinema.” One reader said, “Sidharth Malhotra has brought yet another wonderful film to Indian cinema like Shershaah.

“Yodha is one of the best films of Shidhart Malhotra, and the acting is wonderful, all actors except Disha Patani are overall nice,” according to a different source.

“Interval Block, Suspense, Climax, and Twist & Turn will absolutely blow your mind. #SidharthMalhotra’s performance is fantastic, the storyline is good but not great, the directing is wonderful, and Disha and Rashi’s acting is okay. “Overall, #Yodha is a good movie,” remarked one user on X (previously Twitter).

Not everyone is impressed.

“The movie was mediocre.It was simply another typical Bollywood film you’ve heard of.Don’t spend your time viewing this,” said one viewer who didn’t appreciate the film.

“The movie was a horrible decision.The narrative was awful, and the acting was merely ordinary.”Not something you should prefer,” another said.

One user was unimpressed with the movie’s climax. Without disclosing much, he stated that “becoming friends” would not be effective in such films.

According to Sacnilk, Yodha, which opened on 7,097 screens nationwide, received ₹1.33 crore in advance bookings. Maharashtra had the highest number of bookings (₹45.33 lakh), followed by Delhi (₹30.46 lakh).

Karnataka reported ₹22.52 lakh; Uttar Pradesh ₹20.25 lakh; and Gujarat ₹18.13 lakh. According to media sources, the movie was created using ₹55 crore.
